Geri® Connect & Assess: Streamlining Lab Operations and Enhancing Patient Communication

Geri® Connect & Assess offers the same functionality as if you were in the lab, directly operating the Geri® main display and positively impacting workflow and lab management. Geri® Connect & Assess supports communication with patients, during consultation or at home. The Patient Review Screen confidentially displays single patient’s information only. Data can be exported as take-home videos or images or shared from this screen interface with patients.

Maximise Your Lab’s Potential with Geri® Connect & Assess

More than one incubator

Geri® Connect & Assess links several Geri® instruments through a local area network (LAN). Data is synchronized, creating a centralised database for all patients.

Remote access

Users can access and review data and time-lapse videos from multiple PC workstations connected to the LAN simultaneously.

Aids Lab efficiencies

Patients can be added, edited or archived online – saving time by storing directly to local network folders.

Quality control

Two levels of user permissions provide clear definition of roles and editing power within the software, with full traceability of actions.

Streamline embryo assessment

One interface to access three different embryo assessment modules to leverage time-lapse information based on your clinic preferences.

Remote monitoring

Displays each Geri® instrument’s environmental conditions and connection status, alarm and warnings history.

A Flexible System for Selecting Top-Quality Embryos

Geri® Connect & Assess includes several tools for assessing embryo development to ensure you have a consistent approach in selecting the best embryo/s. Crafted for Perfection: Our system is completely adaptable and customisable, allowing for perfect integration with the distinct protocols of each clinic

Geri Asses 1.0

Morphology Manual annotations

Is a user-defined embryo assessment tool, providing a cumulative score according to a clinic’s unique configuration, where the weight placed on assessment criteria is based on clinic preferences

Geri Asses 2.0

Kinetics D5 Automated annotations

Is an embryo development assessment tool based on artificial intelligence that automatically detects and annotates key events and observations as they occur.

Eeva System

Universal algorithms for embryo classification and selection

Is a prognostic test providing automated evaluation of early embryo development and can help to achieve improved ART outcomes when used in conjunction with traditional morphology

Artificial Intelligence

Compatible with most AI tools in the market

Bringing cutting-edge precision to embryo selection and significantly enhancing success rates. This synergy leverages AI to refine decision-making, ensuring that clinics have access to the most advanced insights for optimal outcomes

Customer spotlight

I don’t find anything about working with the incubator bothersome. It’s user-friendly. Service is trouble-free. There’s no worry about it at all. It is beautifully maintained, has excellent displays and what helps us the most is it has remote access… that’s the thing we use to the max!

The moment we have the slightest problem we call them, they are always available, and if they can’t solve the problem by directing us over the phone on what we need to do, within half a day they come directly to our headquarters and come to see the incubator.

The engineers are all local. This is extremely positive because in case of problems, we call and they can solve the problems remotely or by immediately going on site.

Being able to see the time lapse images so clearly allows you to see the beginning developments of embryos, which is really crucial when deciding on which embryo to transfer. An embryo that does unusual first and second divisions do not correlate as highly with ongoing pregnancy rates than those that do. So when you’re trying to choose between a group of embryos having that seamless video from beginning of the embryo development after the fertilization is absolutely crucial in deciding which embryos should be used, in which order.

The Geri has an attractive, neat footprint and remote access from any computer which is very important for me when I am off-site and would like to check an embryo for a member of the team. The customer service is great. Our engineer is Lewis and he is available to help with all aspects of the machine. The team is knowledgeable and responsive. I would recommend Geri because as well as it being for time-lapse, it is also a very good humidified incubator, user friendly and easy to maintain.

We are very grateful for this incredible opportunity which will support us to carry out more innovative research projects focused on the impact of humidified environment on embryo culture systems and to incorporate time-lapse technology in our OPU-ICSI and SCNT equine cycles!

As a user of Geri and Gems Media, Genea Biomedx means proximity, trust and reliability. We have been together since 2016… and we will continue to be.

Our experience with other types of single-step media has not been as good as with the Geri Medium.

The way we can check the embryos, if an alarm goes off, to make sure that everything is as it should be… remotely. Because you have got your own user status hubs that allow you to see absolutely everything all the time. When you are at home at 10 o’clock at night and your alarms go off you need that. It gives me real peace of mind. It has changed, literally changed my life, in the last 18 months.

We’ve been using the Genea Biomedx Geri for 6 years now, it has been the mainstay of our culture system.  I appreciate the fact that the system was designed from the ground up with constant input from embryologists.  The interface is logical and very easy to use, and having six independent culture chamber modules, each with its own camera, makes the system extremely flexible.  The design of the time-lapse dish is terrific, it is very easy to handle, and there are three large wells for rinsing and one large well with 16 micro-wells deep enough to keep embryos in place.  The dish design also allows room for 4ml of oil overlay so that the culture media is better protected.  The Genea Biomedx Geri is simply a great incubator- it has been a great addition to the laboratory.

Gidget allows me to track everything in my lab. It required no modifications, and it perfectly adapted to my laboratory and my procedures. Gidget doesn’t require technical support, I always have Genea Biomedx staff available for changes to my procedures or cycles. I take the PDA only when I need it, and I can take it with me from the seminology room to the vitrification room, or for the recognition of the patient. It is important for me to have the complete report of each patient also for CNT control purposes.

Geri machine is really one of the great machines. When we had the Geri, I think it was the best decision ever we did in our lab. It’s really a machine that’s built, I would think it’s built by embryologists, for embryologists, and it will make our life and make our flow, workflow very easy at the lab. And in addition to all of that, it’s really good incubator. It’s really nice to have it, and we’re lucky that we have it and we continue to really support this and use it in our lab.

Really love the fact that we have these humidified chambers which provides, you know, great ambient environment for a lot of laboratories where it’s very dry or they can’t control the humidity.
